Kunststoffland NRW e.V., founded 2006, as state network of the plastics industry in Northrhine-Westphalia is conducting cross-linking of all actors of companies, science, further education, politics and representations of interests. Kunststoffland NRW e.V. offers its members a platform for information, communication and cooperation. The common aim "Strengthening of competence and excellence of the industry sector" is in the foreground. By cooperation with regional competence networks like the Polymernetzwerk the actors are strengthened state-wide and regional.
Kunststoff Institut Lüdenscheid
The Kunststoff-Institut für die mittelstaendische Wirtschaft NRW GmbH (K.I.M.W.) combines tomorrow's scientific know how with today's production capabilities. Its focus is on increasing the quality and economic efficiency - especially for injection moulded parts of thermoplastic and thermoset materials. For that reason it offers a number of services for the benefit of our costumers.
The enterprise as a whole has been DIN EN ISO 9001 certified; the laboratory has been accredited to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2000.
The Kunststoff-Institut Luedenscheid
- provides support with the selection, development and optimization of products, moulds and processes in all areas of plastics technology
- is focused on increasing the quality and economic efficiency in the plastics industry
- was founded in 1988 as an "extended workbench" and is thus one of the most experienced service provider supported by an association of shareholders of approximately 157 companies
- currently employs a staff of approximately 55 people
- generates an annual turnover of more than 5 million euros
